Guarantee

We hope that you have either received The Free Gift of God or that you are willing to seriously consider His offer.  What guarantee can you have that His offer is real?  How can you know that God exists?

If you would consider the facts, you would know beyond a shadow of doubt that God is real and that His Word is true.  As you continue reading this page you will learn some amazing facts.  But this is only a very small sampling of the evidence available for you to consider.

You will learn that the God of the Bible claims that He is God because He alone is able to declare in advance with 100% accuracy historical events before they happen.  That is very unique to the Bible.  The proof of prophecy is not found in the writings of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, or any other old or new religious group.

Religion is defined as the acts performed to be in good terms with deity.  In contrast, Christianity is not a religion because you will discover that there are no acts that you can do to earn the Free Gift of God.  If you need to earn your salvation, it would not be a gift from God.  Jesus Christ already paid the price for your salvation because of His love for you.  All that you can do now is receive and rejoice.  As you grow in your relationship with God, your actions will be a response to His love.

We are praying that you, as millions of Born Again Christians over the last two thousand years have done, will also receive the joy of knowing the love of God.  It is His love that compels us to share His gospel of salvation with you.  The gospel of Jesus Christ means good news!

If God is real, it does not matter to you what I believe or specifically what I say about God.  Who am I to define God?  I am nothing.  All that should matter to you is what He says to you about Himself.  Agreed?

“I am the Lord, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

Isaiah 42:8—9

Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’

Isaiah 46:9—10

“Present your case,” says the Lord.
“Bring forth your strong reasons,” says the King of Jacob.
“Let them bring forth and show us what will happen;
Let them show the former things, what they were,
That we may consider them,
And know the latter end of them;
Or declare to us things to come.
Show the things that are to come hereafter,
That we may know that you are gods;
Yes, do good or do evil,
That we may be dismayed and see it together.
Indeed you are nothing,
And your work is nothing;
He who chooses you is an abomination.

Isaiah 41:21—24

In these Scriptures God clearly declares that He is God because He is able to accurately declare the future.  At least one quarter of the Bible is prophetic.  There are hundreds of prophecies dealing with the First Coming and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Perhaps my testimony might be of value to you here.  I was an atheist during my university years.  I knew that the Bible was false so I would not waste my time reading it.  But I was invited to see a film which basically said that some historical events which I knew, since my early childhood, were prophesied in the Bible.

My response was to prove to myself that the Bible was false.  I decided that if there were any similarities between the events and the ancient writings it was only due to false translations.  So, I spent months checking the Hebrew and the Greek with interlinear dictionaries.  I have an accounting degree so I know about using a systematic approach when analyzing a problem.

I was obsessively trying to prove that the prophetic scriptures were false.  I was not looking for God.  However, by the grace of God, my eyes were opened and I knew then, beyond any doubt, that God is real.  The evidence proving the existence of God is overwhelming.  But receiving Him as my Savior was a miracle for a later day.

If you are young, you might not remember life without the internet.  When I was doing my bible research, we still relied on bookstores and libraries.  Now you can use Google and Youtube to check out much of this information.

I compulsively examined many bible prophecy books.  I remember being disappointed when I visited a bookstore and they didn’t have any new books on the subject.   A book that presented these facts on a cohesive manner is Evidence that Demands a Verdict by Josh MacDowell (Copyright 1972, 1979).

In the chapter titled, Prophecy Fulfilled in History, you learn about 11 prophecies which are well documented in history.  To blindly deny these factual events would take more faith than believing that what God says is true.  It is impossible to deny the factual evidence.  Trust me.  I tried.

How can you possibly deny that two plus two is four?  I used to believe that in order for an intelligent person to believe in God, they had to be schizophrenic.  How could they believe two completely opposite facts?  Now, I was in a position where to deny what I knew to be true I would need to be schizophrenic and believe in two completely opposite realities.

The combined mathematical probability of these 11 prophecies being fulfilled by chance alone is computed as 1 in 5.76 x 1059.  You probably know that this is a number with 59 zeroes but how big is the number?  To try to visualize it, round it off to 5 x 1059.  The author asks to imagine that you had that number of silver dollars.  What would that look like?

The sun is one million times larger than the earth.  Yet if you had 5 x 1059 silver dollars you would have 1028 solid silver balls the size of the sun.  Imagine what your chances would be to find one marked silver dollar as you traveled from silver ball to silver ball.  You could take as long as you want but you would only have one chance of getting the correct silver dollar.  That’s how impossible it is for these 11 prophecies to happen by chance alone.

That’s why God can declare to be God by proving that He alone is able to declare the future in advance.  But to make it more specific, He is able to declare your future.  He declares that every knee, including yours, will bow to Him.  That is in your future.  The scriptures say that, “it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,” Hebrews 9:27.

The question then is whether you will be bowing to your Judge or to your Savior.  If you choose to be saved, the scriptures say that, there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”  Romans 8:1

Tell and bring forth your case;
Yes, let them take counsel together.
Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the Lord?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.
“Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.
I have sworn by Myself;
The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness,
And shall not return,
That to Me every knee shall bow,
Every tongue shall take an oath.

Isaiah 45:21—23

In the above scripture, YHWH (the four Hebrew letters called the Tetragrammaton referring to the name of God which are normally translated as LORD) declares that He is the only God and “there is no other.”     Born Again Christians have received the truth of the scriptures that declare that God became one of us and dwelt among us.  The apostle Paul ascribed this scripture to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.  Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:1—11, NIV

After His resurrection, Jesus Christ said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
John 20:26 – 28
