The Best Twin Buggy
This inline double is designed to expand with you and your family. It has multiple seating options that can be used for twins or children of different ages. The tires are filled with foam and will not flatten, and its soft suspension is perfect for kerbs.
It’s easy to travel because it folds super-flat, and it meets the weight requirements of gate-checks for airlines. It also comes with an enormous underseat storage basket, as well as a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is a fantastic option for those who fly. Its sleek design, auto-folding feature and dimensions that are approved by the cabin make it a fantastic option. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm, which is slightly larger than the IATA standard of 45cm. However, it still complies with the regulations of hand luggage for airlines and can be stored in overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline approval). It was easy to clean using a cloth and there were plenty of other items like nappy nappy, footmuffs and buggie organiser bags that clip onto the handles, and hoods with UV50+ protection.
It’s easy to get up and down stairs and fits through tight spaces such as narrow streets, shops, and Jane’s terrace house. The bumper bar doubles up as a handle for carrying and there’s an ample, flip-flop-friendly brake with a colour indicator. The basket is a little smaller than some other models but it’s big enough to hold a decent-sized change bag. there are additional trays for drinks, snacks and toys.
It’s suitable for babies from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). The backrest is cleverly flattened to allow for naps or long walks. The magnetic 5-point harness makes it easy to use. It’s also extremely light, weighing only 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie has a mission to “share happiness with parents who are expecting” by creating pushchairs that are “functional and stylish, as well as innovative”. The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is their most recent product. It’s designed to take two children side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both kids can see the world around them.
Weighing just over 10kg The Evalite Duo is one of the tiniest strollers for siblings on the market. It’s suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It’s easy to drive, ride, lift and fold and the frame expands widthways to accommodate the second seat.
Out ‘n’ About say the one-handed fold is the highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were impressed with how quickly and easily it can be put together. However, they did observe that it’s trickier to navigate bumps and rough terrain than some other models.
The front seat doesn’t fully recline and the parents needed to use their hands to lower it. This is something they’d prefer to avoid when traveling with small children. Nonetheless, they say the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that can be made perfect with a few adjustments. They are impressed by how compact it is when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy, offers parents the variety they require. It’s compatible with a wide range of car seats and folds up easily with a single click. It comes with a range of accessories, including raincovers and liners. The rival brands charge a separate fee for these.
second hand double buggy is a sought-after choice for parents who want to be fashionable due to its stylish and contemporary premium jersey fabrics. The 2022 version of the Peach has been updated with minor tweaks to improve efficiency and performance without sacrificing aesthetics.
The inclusion of a ride-on board makes this the ideal option for twins. It’s also a bit smaller than previous Peach models but that doesn’t mean it from offering all the space you’ll require for your kids.
This is an excellent double stroller for those who want something sleek and adaptable. You can use it as a single pram from birth, and then purchase the double kit to make it into a twin buggy. It also has a huge basket and 5 reclining positions to ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also has an integrated carry strap and a one-handed folding mechanism. It’s heavy to store, especially because it folds in two pieces instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is among the best twin buggies available. The seats can be fitted with liners and footmuffs to keep your children warm during cold winter months. The carrycot can be inserted into the Orange chassis easily thanks to gate-opening flaps on the sides and is comfortable and spacious. The seat and carrycot can be placed in a variety of configurations and the Orange chassis can accommodate an incredible 30 possible combinations.
The wheels are designed to handle rough roads and terrain. It also comes with a large shopping basket that’s perfect for large supermarkets. This pushchair feels smooth to drive and has a light feel, and the pedal brake that is rounded is easy to use (but not flip-flop friendly). It’s not easy to fold as the latch that holds it folded needs two hands to open. When it’s collapsed the front wheels fold under the basket, and the chassis is free to stand.
The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who are style-conscious and have a baby, toddler or both. They want a buggy which will grow with their child. It’s also a good option for parents expecting a second child in the near future who want a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange may not be expensive however its versatility will make it last a long time and increase its resale price. It can also be used with buggy boards, which can aid in reducing sibling rivalries over seats!
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by a New Zealander and is part of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first company in the world of prams to concentrate on two all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller is easily maneuvered through narrow aisles of shopping and doors. It is among the smallest and most feature-packed double buggies that are available and has been awarded numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The seats are narrow enough to allow children of different ages sit comfortably together. They also have an independent reclined, allowing children to select their preferred position. The large canopy is equipped with flip-out sun visors, and the storage basket has plenty of space. It works with most brands and can accept two infant car seat adapters with the purchase of car seats.
The only issue is the weight. It is hefty at 32.4 pounds, and it could be difficult to get into and out of the trunk for Grandma. And, it is more expensive than most other side-by-side double buggies. It is built to last, and has a lot of features for its price. It is a great choice for urban parents who want to avoid carrying a heavy stroller around. The straps are padded, with a 5-point buckle, and padded straps ensure that it is safe for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with elegant design. It’s a great product, but not without flaws.
It’s got very little in the way of additional conveniences for the parents and their children. There’s a small side bin next to the seat, but it’s only accessible when one seat is attached and that’s the only feature it provides. There are no parent trays cup holders, cups, or accessory pockets and this could pose a problem for long journeys.
The seats don’t recline to a flat position, and the gap between them is quite wide which is why our 5-year-old had trouble lying back comfortably. This is a shame since it’s a top-of-the-line model.
On the positive side, it’s a breeze to maneuver and the swivel wheel is great in climbing the steps and slopes. It’s also narrow enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds easily for stress-free storage and transport. It can also be changed to mono mode with just three clicks, if you require more space or a quick escape. The comfortable wheeled board is able to accommodate an additional child if needed. If you’re on budget you can find cheaper alternatives. It’s worth it though in the event that you’re a huge fan of the brand and have the money to spend.
